Apple and Samsung agree to withdraw all legal cases outside US

Tech giants Apple and Samsung have signed an agreement withdrawing all legal cases against each other outside the United States.

However, the agreement does not include any licensing settlements and the two companies would continue the cases outside the United States, reports the BBC.

The two companies had filed several lawsuits against each other over patent disputes in many countries including Japan, South Korea, Germany and the U.K.

Apple and Samsung are the two biggest companies in the smartphone and tablet market, today.

The legal cases between the two rivals, spread across countries, had become bitter.
