'Waiting to start this new chapter': Indian wrestler Babita Kumari announces pregnancy with husband Vivek Suhag

Indian wrestler Babita Kumari took her social media to announce her pregnancy with husband and Vivek Suhag. The 'Dangal' girl said she is 'excited and is waiting to start this new chapter'.

Babita tweeted with an image saying, "Every single moment that I spend being your wife, I realize how lucky I am to live such an amazing life. You are my happy place. You complete me. I’m excited & waiting to start this new chapter in my life".

Babita had celebrated her birthday on November 20 and announced her pregnancy today. Babita and Vivek met at an event in New Delhi and had been dating for five years. The wrestling star married fellow wrestler Vivek in Haryana on Decmeber 2, 2019. 

During the wedding ceremony, the two did something unusual. Babita and Vivek took eight 'pheras' (Hindu wedding ritual where a couple goes around the sacred fire) instead of the traditional seven. 

The reason for the same was that they wanted to raise awareness on girl child and took a pledge to save, teach and let the girl child play.
