S. Somanath, ISRO Chairman Taking the helm at ISRO in January last year, S. Somanath has played a central role in India's ambitious lunar exploration. With significant experience from directorial roles at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) and the Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre, he guides pivotal projects like Chandrayaan-3, Aditya-L1 (a solar research mission), and Gaganyaan (India's first manned space mission).

M Sankaran, Director U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) Appointed Director of the U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in June 2021, M. Sankaran leads the team responsible for designing and constructing India's diverse satellite fleet. His guidance ensures satellites tailored to India's needs in communication, navigation, remote sensing, weather prediction, and planetary exploration.

S Unnikrishnan Nair, Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre Based in Thumba, Kerala, the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) played a pivotal role in advancing the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark-III, now known as the Launch Vehicle Mark-III. Under the leadership of S. Unnikrishnan Nair, VSSC oversees crucial aspects of this mission.

P Veeramuthuvel, Project Director of Chandrayaan-3 As Project Director since 2019, P. Veeramuthuvel has a remarkable journey. Formerly Deputy Director at ISRO's central headquarters' Space Infrastructure Programme Office, he also played a crucial role in Chandrayaan-2's success. Hailing from Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, and an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M), his expertise shines brightly.
