According to the cops, when they reached the spot, the four accused fled and over 100 sacks of the illegally mined sand has been seized.

On receiving a tip-off, the Mumbra police have registered a case against four people on the charge of illegal sand mining at Reti Bunder, on February 7. However no arrest has been made yet as the four are on the run.
According to the cops, when they reached the spot, the four accused fled and over 100 sacks of the illegally mined sand has been seized. The accused have been identified as Arun Bhoir, Anil Bhagat, Firoz and Gupta. An official from Mumbra police station said, "We have registered the case and we are investigating."
