Army’s soldier recruitment rally in Beed from Feb 1

It will be for young men from Pune, Ahmednagar, Latur, Osmanabad and Beed districts.

The army will be holding a recruitment rally to select young men for the posts of soldiers’ general duty (GD), technical, soldier clerk/store keeper-technical (SKT) and nursing assistant from the districts of Pune, Ahmednagar, Latur, Osmanabad and Beed. The rally will be held between February 1-10 at the police parade ground in Beed. 

According to a statement from the Press Information Bureau (defence wing), the city/ district wise schedule is as follows: February 1 (Latur), Feb 2 ( Pune), February 3 (talukas of north Ahmednagar), February 4 (talukas of south Ahmednagar), February 6 and 7 (talukas of Beed) and February 8 (Osmanabad). February 8 is earmarked for the screening of NCC certificate holders and sons of servicemen and ex-servicemen. 

Additionally, candidates from all over the state will be screened for recruitment into the category of soldier technical on February 3, while candidates of Nashik and Thane districts will be screened for recruitment into category of soldier general duty and clerk on February 9 and 10 respectively. The written test (common entrance examination) will be held at Pune on February 26. 

Candidates need to bring with them 16 passport size photographs, all original documents (with one photocopy each) SSC /HSC board certificates and marks sheets, domicile certificate, caste certificate (from the sarpanch for open caste, authorised signatory for others), character certificate, school leaving certificates, sarpanch certificate, police patil certificate, NCC and sports certificates.
