'Where do you find reporters like these?': Donald Trump mocks Imran Khan after Pak journalist's rant on Kashmir

Mocking the Pakistani journalist, Donald Trump said, Trump asked Imran Khan, "Where do you get reporters like these?’ and then questioned the reporter, "Are you from his (Imran) team? You are making a statement, not asking a question."

US President Donald Trump during a joint press conference with Pakistan PM Imran Khan asked a Pak journalist, "Are you a member of his (Imran's) team" when the reporter went rhetoric on Kashmir.

Mocking the Pakistani journalist that left Pak PM embarrassed, Donald Trump asked Imran, "Where do you find reporters like these?" and then questioned the reporter, "Are you from his (Imran) team? You are making a statement, not asking a question."

After being mocked by President Trump, the journalist said, "I am not a member of his (Imran's) team but an independent journalist, let me complete the question..."

Hearing Pak's journalist's question who continued with his Kashmir rant, Trump said his question seemed more like a statement.

After some time in the press conference, the Pak journalist once again tried to ask a question to which Donald Trump again said, "make a very small, one-second statement." The reporter went ahead and started propagating Pak's false agenda on Kashmir. Listening to this, Trump asked Imran Khan, "Where do you find reporters like these?" 

Following this, a Pakistani channel which was airing the press conference live immediately stopped the broadcast.

Donald Trump was addressing questions whether he was still willing to mediate on Kashmir. The US President said that he is willing to mediate on Kashmir issue only if both India and Pakistan agree on it.

"You have to have two parties that want to agree ... At some point, India may come. I have a very good relationship with Prime Minister Modi. I have a very good relationship with Prime Minister Khan, and if at any time they say, you know, we have some points that we can, maybe, iron out, I think I'd be an extremely good arbitrator," said Trump.

"I've done it before, believe it or not. And I've never failed as an arbitrator, I've been asked to arbitrate disputes - pretty big ones - from friends and I've done it in a good, successful fashion...If I can be of help...but also have to have the assent from the other sides," he said. 

US President Donald Trump, during a bilateral meet with Pakistan PM Imran Khan, in New York, on if he'll offer to mediate again on Kashmir issue had said, "I am ready, willing and able. It's a complex issue. It's being going on for a long time. But if both want it, I will be ready to do it."

Donald Trump on Monday also made an unexpected visit to UNSG's Summit on Climate Change where he stayed for about 15 minutes. Although he didn't speak at the summit he listened to addresses of PM Modi & German Chancellor Angela Merkel before leaving.
