Dancing on DJ's tune at a wedding ceremony at her parents home proved costly for Munia Devi as she had to pay the price with her life. Her dance angered her husband to a level that he strangulated her to death. The shocking incident took place on Monday night in Hassadih Mushari of Patna district's Masaurhi police station in Bihar.

According to reports, Munia Devi, wife of Ranjit Manjhi alias Ramjeet Manjhi of Khorangpur village of Dhanarua police station,  had come to her parents' home in Hassadih with her children 10 days ago. Her husband also arrived three days ago to attend the wedding of Dara Manjhi's daughter in in-laws' village.

Munia joined the wedding celebration on Monday with her husband and children. While the rituals were underway, the wedding party was dancing on DJ's tune. Seeing this, Munia also wanted to dance and joined the guests.

Seeing this, her husband lost his cool and started beating her in front of everyone. Later, he dragged her to courtyard Mahendra Manjhi in the village. When he was not satisfied with beating her, he strangulated her to death. She died on the spot and the accused husband fled from the spot.
