A massive fire broke out at an apartment building in Kolkata on Monday. South Kolkata’s South City Galaxy Apartments was engulfed in the fire with firefighters trying to bring the blaze under control.
Fortunately, there are no casualties and all occupants have been evacuated.
The fire is reported to have erupted around 10 am from the 16th floor of the residential complex in Bhawanipur area.

However, no persons were trapped inside and local residents helped evacuate the occupants of the 16th floor and no one was injured in the incident, officials said.
As many as 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. A hydraulic ladder was also deployed
With the fire still raging, senior officials have rushed to the spot.
