IMD weather update: Rain lashes parts of Delhi-NCR on Day 1 of G20 summit, check date-wise forecast here

A sudden spell of rains lashed in various parts of the national capital today (September 9), bringing temperatures down in the city. The Regional Meteorological Centre predicts that Delhi will likely experience light rain on Saturday and Sunday in the early morning. Around 37 and 27 degrees Celsius are predicted for the highest and minimum temperatures, respectively.

As the national capital gears up to host the annual G20 summit starting today, photos from Vasant Kunj, Munirka Enclave, Narela area, Lajpat Nagar and INA area showed drizzle lashing the Delhi-NCR.

September 9: The weather department has predicted a possibility of light rains towards the after.

September 10: Light rain is likely to continue in Delhi NCR and cloudy skies will be seen thereafter.

India is hosting the G20 Summit on September 9-10 in New Delhi. G20 Summit would commence with the arrival of the world leaders at the venue (Bharat Mandapam) from 9.30 am onwards. At around 10.30 the first session of the G20 Summit: 'One Earth' will take place.
