Former Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat will "sooner or later" be "arrested" in connection with a Rs.35,000 crore mining scam in the state, BJP vice president Wilfred Misquita said Friday.
"Sooner or later, he will be arrested. I cannot tell you when exactly," Misquita said, even as the police arrested minor players in the scam that was exposed by a central government appointed judicial commission.
Kamat was a Congress chief minister and minister for mines from 2007 to 2012.
