P Diddy expensive for American version of 'X Factor'

Rapper P Diddy will not be a judge on the American X Factor because he is 'too expensive', according to Simon Cowell.

The music mogul also dismissed rumours over Christina Aguilera, saying 'absolutely not', reports the Sun.

However, he confirmed in an interview on US TV that he had spoken to singers Jessica Simpson and Shania Twain.

Cowell is expected to confirm the panel next month with Cheryl Cole still being widely tipped.
