Did you know? Shah Rukh Khan has THIS connection with Smriti Irani's step daughter!

Shah Rukh Khan recently made the revelation that he was the one who named Union Cabinet Minister of Textile Smriti Irani's step-daughter 'Shanelle'. Shah Rukh Khan and Smriti Irani are childhood pals, as he wrote in the caption for the picture he had posted on his Instgram, before crediting himself for naming her.

Following that, Smriti Irani responded to the post, commenting , "#memories #family #friends Best kept secret out, she continues to make us proud." 

For those who've come in late, it was only recently that Smriti Irani joined Instagram and has been posting a number of delightful pictures, including an old picture of Ekta Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar and one where she is reminiscing of old times with her step-daughter Shanelle, captioning it as, "#familyphoto some one is being missed sorely @shanelleirani"
