Nobody ever experiences easy success. You put in long hours and overcome numerous obstacles to be where you wanted to be. The same thing happened to Moin Ahamd Mansoori, a bus driver's son from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, who in only his fourth attempt in the UPSC Civil Services Examination made everyone in his hometown proud. On his fourth try, Moin achieved rank 296.

His father Wali Hasan is the only provider for the family and a bus driver for UP Roadways. According to Moin, Tasleem, his mother is a housewife and he has four siblings. His older sibling is employed in Delhi with a private business. Moin and his family are not the owners of any land.

When describing his resolve to fulfill his UPSC dream, Moin said that while he was still a B.Sc. student, he thought of joining the public service because of the difficulties he was faced with. Due to some financial difficulties, he then considered enrolling in coaching programs.

After this, he opened a cyber café in 2016 and began saving money for coaching fees from the shop itself in 2018. In 2019, he traveled to Delhi and began studying for the exam. His first three attempts at the UPSC Civil Services exam—in 2019, 2020, and 2021—were unsuccessful in getting him to the preliminary round.

He did, however, earn the 296th spot in the 2022 exam. When funds ran out in between, a loan of Rs 2.5 lakh needed to be taken; of that amount, Rs 1 lakh has been settled, Aaj Tak reported.
