Kendriya Vidyalaya Admissions 2021: First list of KV admissions to class 1 postponed, know details here

The list was scheduled to be released on April 23 (Friday). The revised dates of the draw of lots for Class 1 admissions will be released soon.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Admissions 2021: Kendriya Vidyalaya KVS has postponed the release date of the class 1 admission list 2021 amid a rise in COVID-19 cases. The list was scheduled to be released on April 23 (Friday). The revised dates of the draw of lots for Class 1 admissions will be released soon. 

“The date of draw of lots for Admission in Std 1 scheduled on 23rd April, 2021 has been postponed due to unprecedented rise in COVID-19 cases in the country,” the official notification stated.

The first provisional merit list and the waiting list for the registered candidates were scheduled to be released o Friday. Based on the vacancies left after the first list, the second and third merit list would have been released on April 30 and May 5, 2021, respectively. 

This would also lead to a delay in the release of the second and third lists.

The registration process for KVS Class 1 admission was started on April 1, 2021 and ended on April 19, 2021. 

Kendriya Vidyalaya 2021-22 admissions are done on a priority and lottery system basis. After the first KV admission list, parents/guardians of selected students need to submit the KV admission form 2021-22 and all the original documents at respective KVs. Failing in submission of original documents will lead to cancellation of admission.
