Sitansu Kotak, a former Saurashtra veteran and India A head coach, has been appointed as the head coach for the Indian squad during the upcoming three T20Is in Ireland, which will take place from August 18 to 23.
The decision to rest head coach Rahul Dravid, along with his staff including batting coach Vikram Rathour and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, has been made in light of the upcoming Asia Cup and ODI World Cup later this year.

As a result, the opportunity has arisen for Sitanshu Kotak, the batting coach at the NCA, to step in and fill the role while Dravid and his team take a well-deserved break. Kotak brings valuable experience to the table, having already served as the head coach for the A-sides for a couple of years.

After being sidelined due to injury for nearly a year, Bumrah's fitness clearance came just in time for the crucial three-month period ahead, which includes the One Day Internationals (ODIs).
