Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the only silver lining in clouds as India lost to Sri Lanka in the opening match of the 3-ODI series in Dharamsala on Sunday. While India's famed batting line-up collapsed like a house of cards, Dhoni did what he does best- be calm and play smart cricket.
Batting with tailenders for most of his innings, the former India captain scored 65 runs and took India past 100 runs. It was not a fighting total but at least saved the hosts total humiliation. Twitter was all praise for Dhoni for his heroic efforts. Many users hit back at those who had called for Dhoni's retirement.

Dhoni has played some great innings with tailenders for company and Sunday was no exception.
MS Dhoni has spent more time with tailenders in his career than family.
