Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is running out of form will be flying to Australia soon for the one-day series from January 12 is.

The wicketkeeper who needs to perform well in the upcoming series visited the temple of Ravi's Deori Mata in Ranchi.

Dhoni who has strong faith in Deodhi Mata visits the temple before and after any series to pray for the team’s as well as personal success.

This time as well, Dhoni took out time and indulged in pooja-worship and also took part in Bhajan-kirtan.

MSD had last played a one-day match against the West Indies on 1 November last year. He was excluded from the team in the three-match T-20 series against Australia before the match.

His name was later also added for the Twenty20 series against New Zealand. Chances are Dhoni could be a part of the team till World Cup.
