Mumbai Indians chose to bat first, put 150 on the board and won the game again. It's like the games at Chennai are following the same script, for the third time in a row as Sunrisers Hyderabad was bowled out for just 137 runs and lost their third in as many games at the same venue.

Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to the best possible start, chasing a 150-run total. SRH made four changes to their line-up and one of those changes was Wriddhiman Saha sitting out, which meant that Bairstow was back at the top and he made an immediate impact. They started cautiously with 5/0 in first two overs, but the taps opened after that from the third over where the right-hander took Trent Boult apart.

Three fours and a glass-shattering six, Sunrisers had put the foot on the peddle as the taps had been opened now. Then who Adam Milne and who Krunal Pandya, everybody travelled. SRH were suddenly 66/0.

Bairstow was firing all guns blazing and an unfortunate dismissal saw him going back to the pavilion as he stepped onto his stumps. And, David Warner too became a victim of a brilliant throw from Hardik Pandya, becoming the third captain in three days to get run-out.

After which, the leg-spinner Rahul Chahar spread his web around the inexperienced SRH middle-order and failed to get out of the rut. Vijay Shankar tried his best with a couple of big shots, but left-arm pacer Trent Boult shut down the door that was ajar, completely and Mumbai eventually won the game by 13 runs.

Earlier, owing to Kieron Pollard's late strikes Mumbai Indians reached the 150-run mark after they too fell in the Chennai surface's hole.
