India vs Australia, 1st Test: 'Not everyone is Pujara'- Rishabh Pant sledges Aussie batsmen

India's young wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant may have not done much with the bat on day one of the first Test match against Australia, but he was one point behind the wicket on day two.  

Pant, who made his Test debut earlier this year, took three catches behind the wicket on Friday. Pant was also busy trying to put pressure on the Australian batsmen with chatter from behind the stumps.

As Australia were put under pressure early, Pant tried to get under the skins of the opponents’ batsmen with some good old fashioned sledging.

On day 2, Pant was recorded on the stump mic making some comments from behind the stumps as he disturb the Aussie batsmen. One of the things he kept saying was “not everyone is Pujara here, lads”.

Pant said it while Usman Khawaja was batting with Australia trying to rebuild after being reduced to 59/3. Pujara was India's top batsman in the first inning scoring 123 runs from 246 deliveries. 

Pant was also heard saying something to Travis Head but the home town boy went on hitting a half-century.

While this series has seen a drop in the ususal hostility between the two sides, there has been some banter already in the opening match of the Test series.

During India’s innings, Pant too some words from Pat Cummins when he tried to slog him. It seems Pant was keen to return the favour.
