Reliance Retail has tied up with America's big fashion brand GAP Inc. After this partnership, GAP Inc.'s products are available at Reliance Retail stores. Reliance Retail is the official retailer of Gap across all channels in India. Isha Ambani’s Reliance Retail entered into a long-term franchise agreement with GAP in 2022. The deal allowed Reliance to sell Gap products across its standalone stores, department store chains, and online channels in India.
Hamleys
In an all-cash deal in 2019, Reliance Retail acquired Hamleys which is a British multi-national toy store chain.
NetMeds
Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries bought a majority stake in NetMeds for Rs 620 crore.
Marks and Spencer
Marks & Spencer forayed into India in 2001. In April 2008 the company formed a Joint venture with Reliance Retail to form Marks & Spencer Reliance India with a 51% stake towards the parent brand Marks & Spencer.
Mukesh Ambani is married to Nita Ambani and has three children Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani, and Isha Ambani. Mukesh Ambani also owns the second-most expensive home in the world - Antilia.
