From technology to agriculture, successful entrepreneurs are serving as role models for aspiring young minds. Chakradhar Gade, a former employee of Infosys who quit his corporate job for milk sales, is one such name flourishing in the business world with his creative idea. 

Who is Chakradhar Gade?

After quitting his corporate position in May 2013, Chakradhar Gade co-founded a company that sells unadulterated, pure milk. After earning a degree in engineering, Chakradhar Gade started working at Infosys in 2004 Navbharat Times reported. He left his position at Infosys after working there for roughly a year. Chakradhar resigned from his position and finished his postgraduate studies at IIM Indore.

After finishing his degree, he received a job offer from Indxx Capital Management. with the position of Vice President, a salary of lakhs. He believed that he was not suited for the position after working there for six years, as per media reports. He met Nitin Kaushal in the midst of everything. They grew to be close friends. They worked together to create a business plan.

Beginning of 'Country Delight'

Chakradhar was battling the issue of adulterated milk in Delhi-NCR personally. This is where he got the concept for his company. For the first two years, he and Nitin delivered fresh milk to people's houses. 2013 saw the launch of Country Delight.

He would repeatedly reach out to deliver milk in order to comprehend the opinions and requirements of the people. He recognized the concern over adulterated milk among the public. He began developing the idea of distributing milk straight from farmers to the consumers.

Though, the family members were upset with the decision to quit jobs, they believed in him. Based on this conviction, Chakradhar continued to take chances, and as a result, he is now the owner of a Rs 5,000 crore business.

For the first two years, they both worked as temporary milk sellers, but in 2015, they quit their jobs to concentrate solely on their business. He became active in the effort to provide the public with natural, fresh, and unadulterated milk through Country Delight. Within the next 24 to 48 hours after purchasing the milk from the farmers, they had to supply it to the client.

Through the app, the company operates on a subscription model. Today, his business strives to bring milk and many other necessities to consumers' doorsteps. In one month, they fulfill 5 crore orders. More than 6,000 delivery partners work with them.

Country Delight has locations in 15 different cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Noida, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Chennai are among them. He generated Rs 600 crore in income in the fiscal year 2022, bringing Country Delight's market value to $615 million (Rs 5000 crore).
