Here's what Karan Johar plans to do at Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal's sangeet function...
It's the season of weddings in the country. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh kick-started the festivities. Post their Italian destination wedding at Lake Como, it's now time for our very own Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra to tie the knot with her beau Nick Jonas in a traditional Hindu ceremony at Jodhpur's magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace. Priyanka and Nick already became man and wife on December 1, after getting hitched in a Christian wedding ceremony. Now, while we're still waiting for the Hindu Wedding ceremony of PC and Nick to be done and their wedding receptions, looks like Karan Johar has already started prepping for the next big fat Indian wedding on the block - that of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal.
Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani will be tying the knot with Anand Piramal on December 12, which is soon after PC and Nick's wedding. While, Karan Johar, who brought the house down with his dance performance at Sonam Kapoor's wedding reception and at the sangeet function of designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's niece, didn't get the chance to do so at the intimate pre-wedding functions of Deepika-Ranveer and Priyanka-Nick. Nevertheless, keeping up with the spirit of the wedding season, KJo has already started prepping up for Isha Ambani's sangeet ceremony.
Why do we say so? Well, reports doing the rounds suggest that Karan Johar, who's curently judging the talent reality show India's Got Talent along with Kirron Kher and Malaika Arora, happened to mention that he has to rush for the rehearsals of the sangeet ceremony, while they were shooting an episode of the show. Now that's some interesting piece of information!
While Karan performed on the song Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo at Sonam's reception and on 'Radha' from his film Student Of The Year at the sangeet of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla's niece, we wonder which songs he has picked to perform at the Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal sangeet! We're quite sure that Karan will certainly put up a great show, considering that he's begun rehearsing his moves already!
