Shah Rukh Khan, who is gearing up for the release of Jawan, unveiled the new poster of his upcoming actioner on Thursday, August 10, and later did an #AskSRK session on X (previously called Twitter). The superstar gave hilarious and honest answers to the questions asked by the users of the micro-blogging platform.

When a person asked Shah Rukh Khan if he will watch the legendary actor Rajinikanth's film Jailer, which hit theatres yesterday, the Pathaan actor said that he loves the 72-year-old actor and replied, "Of course I love Rajni sir….Maassss!! He had come on Jawan set and blessed us too. #Jawan."

Directed by Nelson, apart from Rajinikanth, Jailer features an ensemble of actors including Tamannaah Bhatia, Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, Ramya Krishnan, Shiva Rajkumar, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, and Mohanlal among others. Though the action-comedy has received mixed reviews from audiences and critics, it has set the box office on fire with an estimated net India collection of Rs 44.50 crore on its first day of theatrical release, as per the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk.com.

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan's next Jawan, the action-packed entertainer has the actress Nayanthara, known as 'Lady Superstar' in South cinema, and filmmaker Atlee making their Bollywood debut. The actioner is also the second Bollywood film for the National Award-winning actor Vijay Sethupathi, whose first Hindi film Mumbaikar was released directly on JioCinema in June.

Also starring Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya among others, Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film will release worldwide in theatres on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
