Shruti Haasan reacted to the rumors about her marriage after Orry called her boyfriend Santanu Hazarika her husband. She said people who don’t know her wouldn’t talk about her, the actress also asked everyone to calm down.
While speaking to ETimes, she said, “When we reached out to the actress, she clarified, "It's just so silly. I wish people who don't know me wouldn't talk about me. I have lived my life with complete openness and honesty. If I were married, why would I hide it? I posted a clarification because my social media was spammed with this news…. It was very funny. I was laughing at it.”
Earlier, she took to Instagram and clarified that she is not married. Shruti wrote, “So, I’m not married. For someone who has been open about every single thing, why would I hide this? LOL. So people who don’t know me at all, please calm down.”
It all started when Orry aka Orhan Awatramani, on Monday, conducted an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit. Fans asked him several questions and he answered them all with honesty. During the session, he revealed that Shruti Haasan showed him an ‘unnecessary attitude’ at an event.

Not for posing cause I never asked her, but she was very very rude to me at an event that I had actually got her into and I don’t even know her ! However, I heard from the rumour mill she called me a “Pune” like a spot boy or smth.”
