Kareena Kapoor Khan is awaiting the release of Jaane Jaan, which premieres on Netflix this Thursday on September 21. The Sujoy Ghosh film, which marks her OTT debut, also features Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in the leading roles. The actress has been givin multiple interviews and attending several events for promoting the crime thriller.

In one of the events last week, Kareena was seen singing the National Anthem along with other ladies. The actress, who looked beautiful in a red dress, however, got trolled as she held her hands together and kept moving them while singing Jana Gana Mana and this was noticed by several eagle-eyed netizens in the video shared by FilmyGyan on Instagram.

Reacting to the same, one netizen wrote, "National anthem is sung in attention position. This is so pathetic such so called 'stars' don't know this", while another added, "We stand in attention position during the National Anthem". Meanwhile, on the work front, the Jab We Met actress will be seen next in The Buckingham Murders, directed by Hansal Mehta. In a recent interview, the actress revealed that the film has largely been shot in English and the makers are planning a limited release in selected cinemas across India in December.

Kareena also has The Crew lined up for release in March 2024. She will be sharing screen space with her Udta Punjab co-star Diljit Dosanjh and other two leading ladies Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The film is directed by Rajesh Krishnan who made his directorial debut with Lootcase, starring the actress's brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu, married to Saif Ali Khan's sister Soha Ali Khan.
