First look posters of 'Sharmaji Namkeen' unveiled on Rishi Kapoor's birth anniversary

First look poster of Rishi Kapoor's swansong 'Sharmaji Namkeen' was unveiled by the makers on the 69th birth anniversary of the late actor. As a mark of love, respect and remembrance of him and as a gift to his millions of fans, the makers released the poster featuring Rishi Kapoor, one of the most celebrated actors in the Hindi film industry whose inimitable work and sparkling career we will cherish forever, on his birth anniversary. Alongside Rishi's poster, the makers also dropped a poster featuring Paresh Rawal, who stepped into the role of the late actor to complete the film. 

Upon the release of the posters, both Rishi Kapoor's wife Neetu Kapoor and his daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni thanked Paresh Rawal for taking the sensitive step of portraying the same character played by Rishi.

Directed by debutant Hitesh Bhatia, this film is a light-hearted coming-of-age story of a lovable 60-year-old-man. Presented by Excel Entertainment, a Macguffin Pictures Production, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Honey Trehan, Abhishek Chaubey and co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia.
