Sushant Singh Rajput killed himself earlier in the day. The 34-year-old actor was reportedly suffering from depression and thus he took the massive step. Deepika Padukone, who has often spoken about depression, once again spoke on the topic.

Deepika addressed the importance of opening up and seeking help hours after news about Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide made headlines. She stated that there is always hope in a situation where a person is depressed. The actress emphasized on the need to communicate.

"As a person who has had a lived experience with mental illness, I cannot stress enough on the importance of reaching out. Talk. Communicate. Express. Seek help. Remember, You are not alone. We are in this together. And most importantly, there is Hope," wrote Deepika.
