Cannes 2019: Sonam Kapoor blushes like a rose in ruffled red Valentino sheer ensemble on Day 2

After debutantes Hina Khan and Diana Penty making news at Cannes, it is time for the veterans to take over. For her second outing at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor picked a ruffled red sheer Valentino ensemble. The actress kept her accessories to a bare minimum and tied her hair in a loose french tail embellished with white flowers.

Talking about Sonam's this year's look, Rhea Kapoor had earlier told IANS, "I think this year we are going to focus on simplicity and elegance... It will be more on Sonam's personality and where she is in her life right now. See, this is a very beautiful phase of her life where she is very happy, content and emotionally secure. So, it should come across in the clothes and the looks."
