Anushka Sharma is known for producing clutter-breaking movies. She has avidly scouted new directors and scriptwriters, who have tasted success through her production house, Clean Slate Films. Now, we hear, the actress has been promoting musicians in her unique way.

“Anushka and Karnesh (her brother) have an open-door policy for young singers and composers. If we look at the movies that the duo has backed together, it’s amazing to note how they have given them a platform to showcase their talent. And all of them have shone with the opportunity. The siblings have a warm and friendly set-up and many musicians reach out to them directly to work with them,” informs a source.

Be it NH10, Phillauri or Pari, the films that Anushka has backed boasts of promising names. In NH10, Anirban Chakraborty, Sanjeev-Darshan, Ayush Shrestha, Savera Mehta and Samira Koppikar composed individual numbers and delivered a catchy soundtrack.

In Phillauri, her production house gave an opportunity to Shashwat Sachdev and Jasleen Royal to shine. They also launched the talented singer Romy, who sang the soulful numbers — Dum Dum and Sahiba. For Pari, she collaborated with Anupam Roy, a recognised Bengali composer. The actress sure has an eye for spotting promising talent!
