The three-member committee set up by the university to probe into TYBMS International Finance question paper leak finally met on Friday. The paper, scheduled on Wednesday, was changed at the last minute and sent to the exam centres after the leak was confirmed.

The panel, headed by former dean of the commerce faculty ST Gadade, reviewed all papers bundles recalled from the 58 exam centres. “The bundles should be opened 15 minutes before the exam, but a few centres had opened them much earlier,” said Gadade.  The panel will meet the principals of these centres on April 30 and May 1. Naresh Chandra, pro-vice chancellor, said:

“From Friday, joint chief conductors of the exams will reach the centres an hour early and the bundles will be opened in their presence.”
