Saudi man divorces wife for being asked to shut car door

A Saudi man divorced his wife in a fit of rage recently, when she told him to shut the car door. According to Gulf News, the couple had come back after a picnic with their son, when the wife got out to help their son into the house and told her husband to close the door as he was closer to it.

But the husband felt insulted and told her she couldn't enter the house until she closed the door, at which, the woman felt offended and called her brother to take her to her maternal home. She reportedly said that if her husband was ready to divorce her over such a petty issue, he didn't appreciate their marriage, and didn't deserve her company.
