Proud mother Sushmita Sen, on Wednesday, took to Instagram and penned an emotional note as her daughter Renee lent her voice to the trailer of her upcoming series Taali which revolves around the life of Shreegauri Sawant.

The actress wrote, “Life comes a full circle!!! My baby girl @reneesen47 graces her voice to rendering this powerful Mantra #mahamrityunjaya Her voice & my face…together in the trailer of Taali. I of course have goosebumps every time I listen to it.”

She further mentioned, “thank you Shona, for choosing to be a part of this very special Tribute…and for doing it with so much love! You make me proud! Thank you all for the avalanche of love & inclusion with which you have received #Taali I am truly overwhelmed to say the least! A big shout out to @shreegaurisawant & our Transgender community for keeping the faith with so much courage! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga.”

Fans reacted to her post, one of them wrote, “The fact that you mentioned “our transgender community” and not “the transgender community” speaks volumes of your character! Have always been a fan! Cannot wait for this!!!” The second one said, “How lovely ...got goosebumps when she sang Ommm.” Another person said, “It feels so powerful! The sounds in earphones feels so different as if of a higher vibration energy.”

Created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar and directed by Ravi Jadhav, Taali will start streaming on JioCinema on August 15. This is Sushmita Sen's second OTT outing after Disney+ Hotstar's crime thriller Aarya, whose two seasons have been hugely successful, and the third season will release later this year.

In a recent interview, Sushmita Sen shared that she was heavily trolled when the first look of the show was unveiled last year. Talking to News18, Sushmita said, "The first poster of Taali that I had released had half my face and the clap. I remember that in the comment section, there were lots of nameless people as social media is full of, writing ‘chhakka’ repeatedly. I thought, how can they do that to me? I took it very personally because it was happening on my timeline. I, of course, blocked all of them. But it hit me that if that’s how it’s making me feel when I’m only portraying Gauri Sawant’s life, they’re living with it every breathing moment of their life."
