Happy Birthday Gulzar: Kapil Sharma pays tribute to legend with a shayari

The legendary lyricist Gulzar turned 85-year-old on Sunday. Many wishes kept on pouring for the legend all over Twitter since morning. Various celebrities also remembered him and wished him happy birthday as he crossed the milestone of age 85.

Among these celebrities, one was renowned Television comedian and Bollywood actor Kapil Sharma. Kapil, who gained success on Television with shows of his own, took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Gulzar. Not only the photo, Kapil also went on to post a shayari alongside the photo, probably as a tribute to Gulzar saab.

Taking to Instagram, Kapil Sharma wrote, "ना मैं गिरा, ना मेरी उम्मीदों के मीनार गिरे, पर कुछ लोग मुझे गिराने में कई बार गिरे जन्म दिन मुबारक गुलज़ार साहब (translates to: Neither did I fall, nor did the pillar of my hopes, but a few people fell while trying to push me down) #happybirthdaygulzar#gulzarsahib"
