The third episode of Game of Thrones season eight was one of the most loved episodes of all time. Titled 'The Long Night', the episode showed the great war fought between the people in Winterfell and the Dead. With fewer dialogues and more darkness, the episode made people go berserk and they faced 'heart in mouth' moment several times. It was one of the longest episodes as well which lasted for 78 minutes. Thrilling and heartbreaking moments were difficult to witness due to no lights!
Millions of fans around the world who watched the episode took to their social media pages and spoke about each and everything that happened during the episode of GoT throughout. But one of the most discussed things was how difficult it was for the viewers to know what actually was taking place as it was shot during the night hours. Thankfully, glimpses of ice and fire at several intervals helped viewers to watch the episode clearly.

Interestingly, it took makers about 11 weeks to shoot the entire episode amidst the freezing temperatures. Maisie Williams who plays the role of Arya Stark on the show stated to Entertainment Weekly, "The hard work pays off on this show. After one of those really tough days, you know it’s going to be part of something so iconic and it will look amazing."
