Love her or hate her, but you can't ignore her. Rakhi Sawant, who returned to controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 14' as a challenger this year, has been impressing fans with her antics and melodrama, not to mention the touches of humour which social media users have thoroughly enjoyed.

However, while Rakhi has been entertaining the audiences ever since she got back on the show with her blunt words and gimmicks, recently she opened up about the childhood scars she got after being beaten up by her uncle.

In the latest episode of 'Bigg Boss 14', contestant Rakhi Sawant disclosed that the women in her family were not allowed to take even minor liberties, and had to pay for protesting.

While speaking with housemate Rahul Vaidya, Rakhi opened up about her orthodox upbringing and how she was treated as a child. "See my stitches after my mama (uncle) beat me. He is not alive anymore," Rakhi was heard saying.

She added, "We weren't even allowed to stand in the balcony. Women of our house were not allowed to do eyebrows. We were not allowed to do any waxing or anything. I don't understand what kind of men they were."

When Rahul asked her what was her mother's stance in all this, Rakhi responded by saying, "Ab ghar ki auraat ko bolna mana tha… allowed nahi tha. Now things have changed. Mere itne rishte aaye but sab chale gaye because I was a dancer."

Rakhi, while on the verge of a breakdown, said, "Hum Bollywood me hote hai toh log judge karte hai that we are characterless. Bollywood me hona gunah hai? Dancer hona gunaah hai?"

For the unversed, Rakhi Sawant started her career in Bollywood as a dancer. She was considered a favourite for filming item songs.

Meanwhile, in the Bigg Boss house, Rakhi, who injured her nose after a brawl with contestant Jasmin Bhasin, was given a choice to get an MRI of her nose to see if everything was alright. After being apprised of the fact that she'll have to quarantine for 14 days once she steps out of the house for medical reasons, Rakhi denied, adding that she will be alright in the house.
