It's a boy! 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' actor Anas Rashid shares photo of newborn; reveals baby's name

Actor Anas Rashid, who shot to fame for portraying the role of Prithviraj Chauhan in historical drama Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, has been blessed with a baby boy. 

Rashid announced the arrival of his son on his Instagram handle and shared a set of photos showcasing his parents welcoming the newborn into the family. 

While sharing the first photos of his baby boy with the world, Rashid revealed the newborn's name in the caption. He wrote, "My father welcomes home his grandson -'Khabib Anas Rashid' Thanks for all your priceless love and wishes on this awaited occasion (sic)."

On December 15, Rashid had posted a video on Instagram in which he shared the happy news with his fans on social media. He said that his wife Heena had delivered a baby boy on December 14 in Ludhiana and that he was thankful to his entire family for their blessings and the team of doctors who made sure everything went well during this time of the pandemic.

Anas Rashid got married to Heena Iqbal in 2017, and this is their second child. The couple had a baby girl last year in February, who they named Aayat.

For the unversed, Rashid has appeared in several television serials including 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', 'Aise Karo Naa Vidaa', 'Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa' to name a few.
