Skype has gone down for the users around the world.

According to the The Next Web, the company says that it is due to an issue with the status settings. The users took to Twitter to report that they are unable to log in, change their status or make and receive calls.

The company says that instant messages and Skype for Web are working fine and that it is working to restore the rest of its service
