If you Rs 10 coins with Mata Vaishno Devi engravings then you can earn lakhs of rupees by auctioning it. An old Re 1 note of 1977-1979 can fetch you Rs 45,000. The old one rupee note should bear the signature of the former principal secretary, ministry of finance, Hirubhai M Patel.

Notably, 10 pieces of ONGC commemorative Rs 5 coins are currently selling for Rs 200 on the website. A Rs 100 note with a rare numerical series — 000 786  is being sold on the website for Rs 1,999. There are some rare coins and notes which can make you richer by over Rs 40,000.

An old and rare Rs 10 note in your wallet can fetch up to Rs 25,000 within a few minutes. The note should have an Ashoka pillar printed on one side and a boat on the other side. This special note was issued in 1943.

Another site Quickr is also a good platform to sell rare coins and notes online. Queen Victoria’s coins from the year 1862 are being sold for Rs 1.5 lakh on the portal.
