Sanjay Devtale to resolve PCMC-MPCB tiff

The environment minister of state Sanjay Devtale assured Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) that he will take initiatives to resolve issues related to the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB).

Devtale visited Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Chinchwad on Thursday. He was accompanied by PCMC mayor Yogesh Behl, MPCB regional officer PK Mirashe, sub regional officer PB Barbole and local corporator Jayshree Gawade. Devtale assured the civic official that he will soon try to solve the environment related issues of the industrial town. He reviewed city’s increasing pollution, number of vehicles, water pollution etc from civic officials. Behl demand that the environment department should financially help the civic body to construct STPs projects in the city.
