Fire brigade report on Manish Market rules out sabotage

The Mumbai fire brigade’s on Friday submitted the report into the fire which gutted four markets in the South Mumbai. Contrary to the allegation, the probe ruled out sabotage and stated that the fire was caused by a short circuit.

The report also confirmed, that the fire originated in a shop inside the Sara Sahara Shopping complex, which sold mobile equipment and accessories, which could have in turn helped the fire in spreading.

The fire officials wrote in their report that there were no evidence to prove sabotage. The fire engulfed the Manish Market due to fire smolders flying from the Sara Sahara.
