Building collapses in Mumbai's Matunga

A building collapsed in Matunga on Sunday evening at 6:55 pm. The collapse took place during demolition of a MHADA building by private contractor.

The building is called Mahavir  Building and is located on Bhandarkar Road, near Kabutarkhana, in Matunga (East).

A part of the building collapsed on a nearby chawl. The required agencies, including Disaster Management Cell of BMC, have been mobilised. No casualty have been reported yet.
