Kota: CISF man dies, another hurt in road accident

A Central Industrial Security Force personnel was killed on the spot on Monday noon when the motorbike he was riding collided with speeding Cruiser jeep near Barkheda village on Kota – Baran NH- 27 under Anta police station of Baran district while the pillion rider, anothe CISF personnel was injured and is admitted to a hospital.

CISF personnel Bharat Singh, 20, a resident of Gaya district in Bihar, and Shankar Singh were going for their duty at NTPC plant at Anta when a speeding Curser jeep collided with motorbike killing Bharat Singh on the spot, said Ramanad Yadav, SHO at Anta police station. 

The two CISF personnel were deputed at NTPC plant and were going for duty when the mishap occurred, the SHO said.

Police have seized the Cruiser jeep and lodged a case under relevant sections against its driver, he said.

The body was last evening handed over to the assistant commandant of CISF battalion deployed at NTPC plant, he said and added further investigation into the matter is underway.

In another accident, a 50-year-old jawan of Home Guard, identified as Pappu Laodha, died following a severe heart attack.

A resident of nearby Tutibadi village and deputed at Motipura thermal power plant under Bapcha police station area of Baran district, Laodha felt uneasiness and was rushed to hospital at Chabda town but he died on the way to hospital.
