It's not a Quick Gun, Shashi Tharoor gets delayed for pistol

Pen is mightier than the sword. But is the pen mightier that the gun? It may be so for Quick Gun Muru Gun. But when it comes to JLF, one wonders what is the need of a gun?

Well, let's not get personal! However, the matter of fact is that Shashi Tharoor had to wait for his licenced gun as it had to be collected from the airline officials. In the process, he got delayed. He reached Jaipur in a Jet Airways flight from Chandigarh and had to wait for 35 minutes to get back his licensed pistol he was flying with.

Though a personal matter, it triggered a question among fellow passengers. One was heard asking, "Why should Tharoor carry a pistol when he is coming to attend a literature festival." Tharoor was seen moving around restlessly in the arrival lobby waiting for his pistol.
