RRB Recruitment 2019: Indian Railways begins hiring for 1.3 lakh jobs with 10% EWS quota- all you need to know

Railway Recruitment 2019: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started fresh hiring to fill 1.30 lakh vacancies in Indian Railways. This recruitment drive also includes seats for the EWS section which enjoys 10% quota in jobs. Union Railway minister Piyush Goyal took to Twitter on Thursday to inform about the recruitment process that Indian Railways has started. The fresh recruitment process has started after the historical amendment in the constitution which provides 10% of the jobs quota to EWS. Indian Railways will be hiring 1.3 lakh staff under different categories with 10% seats for the economically weaker section.   

Earlier this month, Indian Railways had notified about 1,30,000 vacancies across railway divisions. Also, the recruitment drive for the 1.24 lakh posts of ALP and Technician ins already in the final stage.

The recruitment process for 1.3 lakh posts in the non-technical popular category, paramedical staff, ministerial and isolated category, and Level 1 Post.  

For new jobs, a notification titled 'RRB/Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 01/2019, 02/2019, & 03/2019 RRC/Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. RRC-01/2019' is expected to be released on RRB websites shortly. The RRB released the official notification today on the official RRB Website. It said that the different posts carry different pay levels and allowances as admissible as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
