In a bid to attract customers during the festive season Diwali, sweet shops in Jodhpur, are selling delicacies shaped in the form of firecrackers. 

A cursory look at these sweet shops in Sardarpura, Jodhpur, would indicate that these establishments are decorated with various firecrackers. Many people come to these shops expecting to buy firecrackers, but to their surprise, they find that they are actually sweets.

The sweets shaped in the form of sutli bombs, sparkling crackers, and light-burst crackers are selling like hotcakes from various sweet shops. These sweets are a favourite among the children in the area. 

This time people are very enthusiastic about Deepawali and traders do not want to hold back from cashing this opportunity! Therefore, sweets have been launched in the market as per the choice of the people, especially the sale of 'cracker sweets' are in full swing.

It takes approximately one month for the shopkeepers to make these sweets, and the fascinating thing about it is, that it is made with no adulteration and only dry fruits are used so that it doesn't get spoiled.

This year Diwali will be celebrated on October 27. It is celebrated to honour the Indian god Ram's return to his kingdom of Ayodhya after spending fourteen years in exile during which he fought the demon king Ravana.
