In major news for people living in Delhi and NCR city, one of the major airport routes is expected to get revamped soon. The road to the Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad will be renovated and beautified, according to the newest order of the authority.

The road from the Hindon Civil Airport Terminal will be elevated, widened and beautified, and a drainage system will also be made to prevent the area from waterlogging and floods during extreme rainfall seasons.

Since the flight services are set to commence from the Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad to other states, the three-kilometer stretch of the road is being elevated to avoid traffic jams on the route. It must be noted that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself travels via the Ghaziabad airport.

The flight services from the Ghaziabad Hindon Airport are set to commence soon, which is why there will be a lot of movement on the road, causing traffic congestion. This is why the order has been passed to widen the road for the ease of the travellers.

Further, this elevated section of the road will be used by passengers to travel to Delhi, Meerut and other NCR cities, making the commute smoother and without traffic. The construction department is also planning to get the road beautified.

Not only the Hindon Airport area of Ghaziabad but work will also be started to renovate the roads across the NCR city, which sustained damage during the spell of heavy rains in the last few months. It is expected that new drainage system will also be put in.
