Bihar Elections 2015: Jitan Ram Majhi asks for change of party's election symbol

BJP's ally  Hindustani Awam Morcha  (HAM) supremo Jitan Ram Manjhi, wants election commission to change his party's election symbol from a landline telephone to mobile phone next time.

"They had never seen a land line telephone and have pushed the wrong symbol. Because the landline phone, unlike the mobile, never became a house-hold item and remained confined to a handful. Many of my voters, who are extremely backward  especially the youngsters and women, have never seen the landline phone,” he said.
