The Airport Authority of India (AAI) on Saturday released an advertisement regarding recruitment for Junior Assistant (Fire Service) positions. There are 71 vacant positions and only the candidates from the states/UT of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Andaman and Nicobar, and Sikkim are eligible to apply.
Interested candidates can check their eligibility, register and apply for the positions at AAI’s official website - aai.aero. The online remittance of the application fees via SBI MPOS also needs to be completed before the December 5 deadline.
Candidates must be at least with 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with minimum 50% marks or 12th Pass with 50% marks. Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 30 with relaxation in upper age limit to candidates from reserved categories.
Candidates must also possess either a valid heavy vehicle driving license or medium vehicle license issued at least one year before the date of advertisement or light motor vehicle license issued at least two years before the date of advertisement.
Due weightage will be given to candidates with computer science background, NCC B Certificate, experience in aviation/regular/industrial fire service, basic fire fighting training course from AAI or Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
