After tackling the topics like love, friendship, courage and loss, Disney's Pixar is moving into new territory with their new short Sanjay's Super Team.

They are tackling religion.

Pixar has released a teaser for their upcoming short to be showed with The Good Dinosaur. Sanjay loves his superheroes and their cartoons. Therefore when, in the teaser, his father signals him about the morning prayers at the same time his favourite cartoon is on, Sanjay is a bit put off.

This is the first time Pixar has handled religion as a direct subject for its film. In the story, Sanjay starts imagining Vishnu, Hanuman and Durga as the Avengers.

The director, Sanjay Patel, has been with Pixar since 1996 and has worked on Monsters Inc., Ratatouille and The Incredibles. Talking to Variety, Patel said that making the film helped him understand his parents.

The short is slated to release with The Good Dinosaur on November 25
