"Ek Villain" star Shraddha Kapoor has called upon Indian women to stand up against any kind of abuse towards them and also be fearless.
The 26-year-old actress criticised the celebration of International Women's Day through a series of tweets, saying a single occasion is not enough to remember the injustice women go through every day.
Every 20 mins or so, there is a rape happening in our country. And today we are "celebrating" womens day

No single day can express the injustice that women have to go through everyday. To be objectified, abused and treated worse than garbage.

Stand up against this abuse, not just today but every day.

Women are NOT objects. They NEED to be respected. Women empowerment is the best change to make the world a better place.
